Rachel McAdams makes a welcome return in Marchesa

12th December 2011 12:15 pm

For feminine, attention-grabbing dresses, Marchesa has become the label to go to when celebs want that special something. Rachel McAdams must have known this only too well when she stepped out in this divine gown last week.

As the female lead of Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows, she knew all eyes would be on her at the LA premiere and boy, didn’t she do well?

Rachel is a long term fan of Marchesa and we can totally see why. She looked completely comfortable in the dazzling silver gown, complete with a super deep low-cut back and long train.

We love the metallic detailing and infinite girliness of it. She accessorised with a stunning pair of silver Louboutins and Jacqueline Nerguizian jewellery, while her hair was pulled into an ornate up-do to show off the back of the dress. Make up, on the other hand, was kept simple and chic.

It’s been a while since we saw Rachel on the red carpet, but judging by this, it was well worth the wait!

Is Rachel McAdams Marchesa gown gorgeous or too grey?

Welcome to My Fashion Life!

Launched in 2003 My Fashion Life is one of the UK’s leading top fashion blogs. Recognised for combining all the quality content you’d expect to find in an online magazine with the honest opinion and tone of a blog.

We love designer fashion, but we love a damn good bargain, too, so while we might lust after Lanvin one minute, we’ll be traipsing to Topshop the next.

You guys are the only reason we get up at 6am to cover the royal wedding and go to bed 5am after the Oscars – we’re dedicated to bringing you the juiciest gossip from the fashion world and delivering the best shopping guides we can muster, because hey, we’re just doing our job. And it’s a good job we love it!
