Watch 100 years of style in 1 min 40

14th March 2012 11:05 am

Now that things have just about calmed down after Fashion Month, we thought it was time to sit back and reflect on the trends and styles presented on the catwalks this season.

We also started comparing this season’s offerings to those of seasons past, and with that, stumbled upon this delightful video showcasing how style has evolved over the past 100 years. There’s music, dancing, and a century of fashion in a beautifully edited, feel-good montage video. A true masterpiece in its own right!

Although this video focuses on East London Style (the video was originally made to coincide with the opening of Westfield Stratford last year – genius!) we think everyone worldwide can identify with it.

Enjoy!

About us

Welcome to My Fashion Life!

Launched in 2003 My Fashion Life is one of the UK’s leading top fashion blogs. Recognised for combining all the quality content you’d expect to find in an online magazine with the honest opinion and tone of a blog.

We love designer fashion, but we love a damn good bargain, too, so while we might lust after Lanvin one minute, we’ll be traipsing to Topshop the next.

You guys are the only reason we get up at 6am to cover the royal wedding and go to bed 5am after the Oscars – we’re dedicated to bringing you the juiciest gossip from the fashion world and delivering the best shopping guides we can muster, because hey, we’re just doing our job. And it’s a good job we love it!
