Collars – whether they’ve been attached to stunning garments or are standalone pieces – have been hot property for a while now, but Kasia Smutniak has given us a brand new reason to love them.

The Polish actress looked phenomenal in a Valentino Resort dress, which was made all the more striking by the beautiful collar!

There are countless ways to work the collar into your wardrobe, and we’ve shown you just a few methods above. You can go conventional with a simple shirt, go flirty and feminine with a collared dress, or be a little bit cheeky and cheat by adding a collared necklace or neckpiece to your existing outfit. Shhh – no one will ever know!

About us

Welcome to My Fashion Life!

Launched in 2003 My Fashion Life is one of the UK’s leading top fashion blogs. Recognised for combining all the quality content you’d expect to find in an online magazine with the honest opinion and tone of a blog.

We love designer fashion, but we love a damn good bargain, too, so while we might lust after Lanvin one minute, we’ll be traipsing to Topshop the next.

You guys are the only reason we get up at 6am to cover the royal wedding and go to bed 5am after the Oscars – we’re dedicated to bringing you the juiciest gossip from the fashion world and delivering the best shopping guides we can muster, because hey, we’re just doing our job. And it’s a good job we love it!
