The contestants squealed and burst into tears after learning that Miss Carrie Bradshaw herself, Sarah Jessica Parker, would introduce the next challenge and play guest judge. With a meager $15 budget in mind, the contestants were asked to sketch a two-piece casual sportswear look for SJP’s Bitten line, from which 7 designs would be presented on the runway. The coveted prize? The possibility of having the winning design included in next season’s collection and sold in stores nation-wide.

SJP chose Elisa, Kit, Victorya, Marion, Ricky, Christian and Rami’s designs, and the remaining contestants were paired off with them. When Sweet P was last to be picked and forced to team up with other worldly, Elisa, and her “polymorphic cape concept, you couldn’t help but feel bad for her. Surprisingly enough, Elisa put her spit-marking and bizarre sewing techniques aside, and the duo created a gorgeous turquoise dress with blouson sleeves and swing cape that landed them in the top two.

Meanwhile, Christian continued to show his true colours by sniping, “I think it’s perfect when Tim Gunn expressed valid concerns over his skin-tight, punk rocker, 80’s inspired look. As usual, Tim was right, and Christian found himself in the bottom two having to defend his tacky retro look to SJP. Although we love being entertained by his larger than life persona, Christian will need to put his ego aside and start listening to criticism if he wants to make it through another week.

In the end it was Victorya’s adorable gray smock dress with plaid, cropped, racer back vest that won SJP’s eye and a spot on the racks of Steve and Barry’s while Marion was asked to pack up after presenting an outfit that looked like a dingy burlap sack with armholes cut out!
