How fickle is the fashion world? Very! After facing intense criticism for his presentation during NY Fashion Week, the tables have now turned for Jacobs and praise is flooding his way in abundance.
The Observer has awarded Jacobs, Style Icon of the Year 2007, even though its been confirmed that Victoria Beckham will be the new face of Marc Jacobs for Spring/Summer 08 (yes you read correctly).
Fashion photographer Juergen Teller did the honours and shot the campaign. We predict what the ads will look like now – pouting and lots stiff poses.
