It’s one of the most highly anticipated fashion events of the season, and Tuesday night at Fashion’s Night Out in New York it was Gossip Girl Leighton Meester who made quite the statement.
The actress chose to go for the daring approach in a cutaway electric blue Versus corset dress (courtesy of Christopher Kane, no less), and pairing it with Christian Louboutin shoe-boots, Leighton’s look oozed cool attitude.
But what with the creme de la creme attending the show at Fashion’s Night Out, including Vogue editrix Anna Wintour, we can’t help but feel that Leighton’s racy approach didn’t quite pay off next to the more elegant of outfits.
