It may be grey and gloomy outside today, but last night’s MTV Movie Awards were significantly sparkier, and we’re beating the Monday blues with a massive dollop of designer action from the red carpet to combat our mood.
Yup, yesterday saw Universal Studios in California pay host to the annual Movie Awards, and as always, there were some serious sartorial delights to take in.
This year’s trends? Continuing from Cannes, white was a wash out last night’s ceremony, but it was the edgier looks that caught our eye. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Reese Witherspoon and Lily Colins all rocked various versions of animal print, and Emma Watson, Leighton Meester and Kristen Stewart dazzled in the biggest trend of the night with beads, embellishment and angular shards of sparkle.
