Remember the nude Shola dress Kate Middleton wore to meet Michelle Obama? Of course you do – and if you don’t, get acquainted now, because the high street store’s just relaunched it.

Like any star returning to the limelight, it’s had a bit of a makeover (it’s red, for starters, and it now goes by the name of Lolla), and while some of the basics are still there – bandage style, asymmetric pleats and a feature waistband – there are some noticeable changes.

It’s now made from medium-weight fabric that “skims rather than clings” to the frame, and features ruching to the waist, as well as a deep V neck, for a more feminine finish.

And if the lava red is too hot to handle, you can pick it up in steel blue, too – a much more likely option for our Duchess. Of course, if you’re really into royal style, you could grab both for the grand total of £350, which probably isn’t bad, all things considered

Both are available online now, but we want to know this: do you care about the Shola dress anymore? And if you do, how does the Lolla compare?
