Victoria Beckham has joined forces with Land Rover design director Gerry McGovern to design a limited edition Range Rover Evoque. Emphasis on the “limited” bit – there’s only 200 being made!

“Working with Victoria we quickly recognised our similar design tastes and ambition for this car,” Gerry McGovern said. “For example at the first meeting, Victoria herself inspired the use of rose gold. She was wearing dark clothes and no jewellery apart from a rose gold, man’s watch.

“I was struck by the juxtaposition of the masculine watch on a very elegant, feminine wrist. We both agreed it was the ideal way to introduce a softer touch to the bold, assertive exterior colour scheme.”

The four-seat coupe cars will make their debut at the Beijing Auto Show which kicks off on April 25th and runs through to May 2nd.

If you’re thinking about being one of the select owners, perhaps this next bit will sway you: the Evoque comes with a four-piece luggage set, as well as a hand-made leather wallet for the logbook which has been signed by Victoria Beckham herself.

Finally, we all know that with a fab product comes an equally fab ad campaign… so without further ado, please draw your attention to the video below…
