Huge congratulations to Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen this morning, as the twins were honoured at the WSJ Innovator of the Year Awards which were held at the Museum of Modern Art in New York last night.

The 26-year-old child stars turned fashion designers picked up the Innovator of the Year prize in the ‘Fashion’ category for having “an eye for nearly monastic classicism that’s redefining American luxury”. The award was presented to them by film producer Jane Rosenthal.

The event was also attended by a host of other fashionable presences, including Anna Wintour who presented the ‘Design’ award to the multi-talented Patrick Kinmonth.

We’re glad the Olsen twins stayed true to their signature – albeit sometimes questionable – personal sartorial styles too, as they wore dark, loose-fitting garments teamed with bags from their award-winning The Row clothing line. Very worthy winners if you ask us!
