When you think of the young, care-free, super-stylish and utterly gorgeous woman, Cara Delevingne would never be too far from your thoughts, right?

This is why we think her appointment as the new face of DKNY’s spring/summer 2013 couldn’t have been more appropriate. Ok there’s the small matter of Cara being a Brit rather than a New Yorker, but we don’t think anyone’s going to mind.

Besides, Dutch beauty Lara Stone has proven that you won’t have to hail from the Big Apple to make an impression on the DKNY brand and all its loyal fans.

DKNY’s spring/summer 2013 offering gives us everything we want from an ad campaign. It showcases an abundance of looks, is season-specific, and never strays far from the true essence of the brand. You’d never know that 20-year-old Cara wasn’t your average all-American girl, would you? Now do you think it’s too late to ask Santa for the bright green handbag?
