A lot of women consider their trusty LBD to be a safe, fuss-free option – just ask Jennifer Aniston – but Mollie King is proof that black most definitely doesn’t mean boring!
Mollie, i.e. one fifth of The Saturdays, donned a strapless black lace dress for the Esquire and Stella Artois summer party in London last night, but still managed to stand out from the crowd despite her colourless not-at-all-summery ensemble.
A below-the-knee lace black dress might be a bit vampy for a summer party, but Mollie added some much-needed colour to her outfit with a juicy multi-coloured clutch bag (you can’t see it in the pic above, so just trust us on this one), bright red talons and cute, baby pink lippie. Plus, we haven’t seen a vamp with luscious golden locks like Mollie’s so we don’t think she’ll get mistaken for a Twilight extra any time soon. Gorgeous!
