Christmas has definitely come early for the six designers shortlisted for this year’s BFC/Vogue Fashion Fund, and those designers are – in no particular order of awesomeness – Mary Katrantzou, House of Holland, Zoe Jordan, Osman, Emilia Wickstead and Peter Pilotto. “The BFC/Vogue Designer Fashion Fund has a proven track record of enabling British designers to make the transition from rising stars to incredible international businesses,” said Caroline Rush, chief executive of the British Fashion Council. “The strength of this year’s shortlist represents a generation of talent who are ready for the financial and mentoring support that the Fund offers.”

We’ll say! The Fund, which is supported by Vogue, Burberry, Clothing at Tesco, Debenhams, Harrods, Paul Smith and Topshop will offer the winner a grant to help their business, but they will also receive year-long mentoring which we think is a money-can’t-buy addition to the prize.

Who do you think will follow in the footsteps of Erdem, Christopher Kane, Jonathan Saunders and Nicholas Kirkwood and pick up the prize? Answers below!
