Maggie vs HSBC

22nd July 2005 8:36 pm

Model Maggie Rizer has lost her battle with HSBC for allowing her stepfather to withdraw large amounts of money from her account while drunk as there is no law against banking while intoxicated. Lawyers of HSBC argued that the bank isn’t responsible for checking its customers for alcohol. Breen who handled the red headed beauty’s finances pleaded guilty in October to stealing from his daughter, and admitted to gambling alot of the money away. The model has lost an estimated amount of $7 million, and her stepfather is currently serving time for grand larceny and scheming to defraud.
