British designer Matthew Williamson has been confirmed as the new artistic director for Italian fashion house Pucci. Williamson famous for his use of colour and feminine collections will be replacing Christian Lacroix who led the design team for 3 years.

“He has created a brand characterised by colour and glamour that fits with the Pucci spirit,” the Florentine fashion house said in a statement.

His first collection for Pucci will show in February at the autumn/winter 2006 fashion week in Milan and he will continue to design his own name collection.

Welcome to My Fashion Life!

Launched in 2003 My Fashion Life is one of the UK’s leading top fashion blogs. Recognised for combining all the quality content you’d expect to find in an online magazine with the honest opinion and tone of a blog.

We love designer fashion, but we love a damn good bargain, too, so while we might lust after Lanvin one minute, we’ll be traipsing to Topshop the next.

You guys are the only reason we get up at 6am to cover the royal wedding and go to bed 5am after the Oscars – we’re dedicated to bringing you the juiciest gossip from the fashion world and delivering the best shopping guides we can muster, because hey, we’re just doing our job. And it’s a good job we love it!
