Clutch Style

29th August 2007 10:21 am

Having had a fairly long stint of a block-colour trend in bags, it is now time for a little more experimentation with detail. Clasps, jewels and the odd ‘ornament’ aren’t strangers as embellished clutches are steadily growing in popularity.

In terms of shape; the clutch is bigger and bolder than it was last season with oversized clutches vying for dominance over the ‘big bag whilst little box clutches beg to be noticed.

But fear not the oversized bag still has stamina and is going strong….it just has a lot more character than before. Both patent and quilted bags are big hits this season . In short, it’s an exciting season for bags!

About us

Welcome to My Fashion Life!

Launched in 2003 My Fashion Life is one of the UK’s leading top fashion blogs. Recognised for combining all the quality content you’d expect to find in an online magazine with the honest opinion and tone of a blog.

We love designer fashion, but we love a damn good bargain, too, so while we might lust after Lanvin one minute, we’ll be traipsing to Topshop the next.

You guys are the only reason we get up at 6am to cover the royal wedding and go to bed 5am after the Oscars – we’re dedicated to bringing you the juiciest gossip from the fashion world and delivering the best shopping guides we can muster, because hey, we’re just doing our job. And it’s a good job we love it!
