I may have mentioned Calypso by Christiane Celle before, but it was only in passing and this stylist-cum-designer-cum-boutique owner definitely deserves to be in the spotlight! Born in France and inspired by the traditional clothing of Nepal and India, Celle lived in Manhattan and worked as a stylist for several years before opening the first of her many boutiques.

Her global influences are perfect for the ethnic-inspired looks of this season; check out the silk “Alexandra Jardin” dress with it’s sari-esque print. The classic Pazzi dress is available every season in different fabrics and colors, and in the requisite brilliant shades for this spring. I just picked up one for myself at one of her Manhattan locations this afternoon and can assure you that it is ultra-flattering!

The best part is, Calypso has a fully-functioning online boutique and you can pick up the Jardin or Pazzi dress for yourself (and select colours for the Pazzi dress are on sale at $125). Check it out at www.calypso-celle.com.
