World renowned designer, Karl Lagerfeld, has been honoured with the ultimate accolade, a coveted spot in Time magazine’s top 100 most infuential people.

It’s no surprise that Karl, now 69, landed himself at number 93 on the much anticipated annual list, what with a career spanning decades. Most noted for his contribution to the re-invention of Chanel when he joined them in 1983 as Director of Collections and Ready-to-Wear, Karl has designed for some of the biggest names out there.

From his collaboration at Fendi to his stint designing for Chloé, he is more than a designer, he is a symbol of style and provides constant inspiration and direction amongst the fashion pack.

And Karl hasn’t just had an impact on the high-flyers, he has also designed for the high-street, with his most memorable collection being for H&M in 2004 which sold out across 20 European stores in a matter of hours!

Mr Lagerfeld clearly deserves this title as influencer and icon. Despite moving from label to label, he has managed to maintain his own personal style and is never afraid to try something new and bold.

Here’s to you, Karl, may you continue to guide us in style and elegance for many years to come!
