Loving Yellow for the Summer!

Posted by Michele Obi on Tuesday, 10 June 20082 Comments

I for one am tired of complaining about the weather. The sunshine is FINALLY here and I intend to enjoy it! This means breaking out the bold bright colours. Usually I’m a pink, orange and on the occasion green type of girl. But I’m warming to the idea of yellow. Yellow has been the citrus colour of choice for a while now and its still hotter than ever.

If you’ve watched the new Sex and the City movie, you must have spotted Samantha wearing yellow in nearly every one of her outfits. Even off screen she’s championing the colour, leading me to wonder is there something magical about yellow that I just don’t know?

After scouring high and low, I’ve fallen head over heels for this smocked top by ALLDRESSEDUP for two reasons….

1. The colour…naturally

2. It reminds me of Lanvin’s gorgeous billowing gowns from their amazing SS08 ads.

Oh and its forgiving on the figure!
