What winter wardrobe would be complete without a new pair of knee high boots? While most of you may be in mourning for the passing of summer, I for one am welcoming winter with open arms and a brand new pair of wonderful winter boots.

My most coveted choice? Gucci’s gorgeous ‘Devendra‘ fringed riding boots. Smart and stylish, these beauties manage to tick the heritage, folk, and bondage trends for AW08.

What I love about these boots is they’re classic with a twist appeal – the equestrian style boot will never date, while the fringe detail adds interest and movement. Follow Gucci’s lead and pair them with luxe boho threads, or wear them to toughen up your favourite LBD.

While the boots are undeniably a style investment, they will set you back a cool £995. I’ve tried my best to find a similar pair for less but the truth hurts, these beauties are one of a kind! There’s only one thing left to do – start playing the lottery again and hope for the best! Good luck.

Welcome to My Fashion Life!

Launched in 2003 My Fashion Life is one of the UK’s leading top fashion blogs. Recognised for combining all the quality content you’d expect to find in an online magazine with the honest opinion and tone of a blog.

We love designer fashion, but we love a damn good bargain, too, so while we might lust after Lanvin one minute, we’ll be traipsing to Topshop the next.

You guys are the only reason we get up at 6am to cover the royal wedding and go to bed 5am after the Oscars – we’re dedicated to bringing you the juiciest gossip from the fashion world and delivering the best shopping guides we can muster, because hey, we’re just doing our job. And it’s a good job we love it!
