Louise Roe’s take on colour blocking

24th March 2011 12:30 pm

TV personality and fashion writer Louise Roe has made appearances on MTV’s The City and is the host of CW’s Plain Jane over in the States. So it’s no surprise that her high-flying career in fashion means she has the guts to boldly try the tricky colour-blocking trend.

Wearing a bright pink Miguelina jumpsuit with a turquoise Miche bag - for which she is the spokesperson - could be disasterous territory for anyone else, but Louise expertly toned down the acid brights with a neutral Topshop knit and flat sandals.

Finishing the outfit with loose tousled hair - and a very cute puppy, of course - makes for classic LA style.

We hope to see more of the British beauty in the future. If this is just her everyday street style, imagine how impressive her red carpet looks could be…

Did Louise Roe's risky colour blocking pay off?

About us

Welcome to My Fashion Life!

Launched in 2003 My Fashion Life is one of the UK’s leading top fashion blogs. Recognised for combining all the quality content you’d expect to find in an online magazine with the honest opinion and tone of a blog.

We love designer fashion, but we love a damn good bargain, too, so while we might lust after Lanvin one minute, we’ll be traipsing to Topshop the next.

You guys are the only reason we get up at 6am to cover the royal wedding and go to bed 5am after the Oscars – we’re dedicated to bringing you the juiciest gossip from the fashion world and delivering the best shopping guides we can muster, because hey, we’re just doing our job. And it’s a good job we love it!
