Love or Hate: Equipment coral signature silk blouse

The last time blouses were this popular Abba were winning the Eurovision. Yup, a major revival is going on, and leading the silk shirt resurgence is Equipment.

The brand was launched in 1975 by Christian Restoin and was a massive hit with the fashion pack. Luckily for us, last year Current/Elliot’s Serge Azria decided to relaunch the brand alongside Restoin with a collection of coloured silk masculine-inspired shirts.

This coral signature silk blouse is right on trend and can be worn in so may ways I’m beginning to lose count. Featuring a neat collar, double buttoned cuffs and a curved hem, one of the great things about Equipment shirts is the range of colours – and this coral shade is a great staple for summer.

This shirt is truly versatile and can be worn for work, rest and play. It looks great tucked into tailored trousers for the office but works just as well with indigo straight-leg jeans.
