John Galliano is designing Kate Moss’s wedding dress

1st July 2011 9:43 am

So it’s official: Kate Moss has chosen a wedding dress designed by John Galliano for her big day tomorrow. Are we surprised? Not one bit.

Aside from their 20-year friendship – which alone set him in good stead for the gig – Kate’s nothing if not prone to a bit of well-documented controversy.

Who can forget six years ago, when Kate was caught sniffing cocaine on camera? Or how she caused outrage by saying “nothing tastes as good as skinny feels?”.

Ok, so she didn’t declare her love for Hitler, but as far as stupid goes, it’s still up there.

So it’s only fitting, really, that the two enfant terribles see out this testing period together, and we, for one, are quite excited about the results.

We’ll be keeping our eyes peeled for first glimspes of Kate’s wedding gown today, but in the meantime, we want to know this: was Kate right to chose Galliano given his recent actions? Are you dying to see his design? And, perhaps most importantly of all, does this mark the beginning of his come back?
