The actress attended the Venice Film Festival last week working this sculpting-shaping-miracle-making dress with peep-toe black court shoes.

Forget magic pants and uncomfortable body sculpting underwear to create curves in the right places – Stella McCartney’s clever colour panelling on this pencil dress deceptively knocks inches off Kate’s waist (and shifts her chest up a notch), taking body-con to a whole other level.

By keeping her hair simple with a chic chignon and minimal jewellery, the actress lets that dress work its magic in front of the cameras.
