Chic Shoegasms: Miu Miu glitter-finish leather pumps
Usually, when faced with a shoe completely covered in gold glitter, I’ve popped the pair on my feet before you can say Dorothy.
So, these Miu Miu glitter-finish leather pumps should be right up my alley, right? Well, no, actually.
Miu Miu’s AW11 show embodied the ultimate glamour of the 1940s, allowing these gold pumps to bring a little playful twist to the decade’s usual elegance. But unfortunately, they’re just too quirky for my taste (and, with feet the size of mine, they’d definitely look a little too cartoonish).
If quirky is your thing, however, £370 isn’t asking too much to invest on a pair of shoes that adhere to your individual style and work the metallic trend for the up-coming season.
