Best Dressed of the Week: Emily Blunt in Jason Wu at ‘The Five Year Engagement’ Tribeca Film Festival Premiere

21st April 2012 12:35 pm

This week’s BDOTW truly is a real standout number.

Probably not everyone’s immediate sartorial choice, but for us, Emily Blunt looked absolutely stunning in this Jason Wu Pre-Fall 2012 dress at the premiere of her latest movie, The Five Year Engagement, also starring Jason Segal.

The striking effect of the green embroidered bodice detail against the black backdrop of the dress; Emily’s colour pop lips, strong eyes – we simply can’t decide on which element we love, so we’re loving her entire look!

Accessorising with beautiful Lorraine Schwartz earrings, a perfectly placed silver buckled belt and a Valentino clutch from the ‘Noir’ capsule collection, Emily finished off her look with complementary Alice + Olivia ‘Devon’ pumps.

A deep-set, side parted down-do and killer pout are the perfect finishing touches. Emily always looks super-polished on the red-carpet and this look is going down as a top favourite in our BDOTW history!

Welcome to My Fashion Life!

Launched in 2003 My Fashion Life is one of the UK’s leading top fashion blogs. Recognised for combining all the quality content you’d expect to find in an online magazine with the honest opinion and tone of a blog.

We love designer fashion, but we love a damn good bargain, too, so while we might lust after Lanvin one minute, we’ll be traipsing to Topshop the next.

You guys are the only reason we get up at 6am to cover the royal wedding and go to bed 5am after the Oscars – we’re dedicated to bringing you the juiciest gossip from the fashion world and delivering the best shopping guides we can muster, because hey, we’re just doing our job. And it’s a good job we love it!
