Christian Louboutin may be a tad peeved that he lost his Zara lawsuit (those pesky courts!) but we think this bit of news will turn his frown upside down.

Turns out the Christian Louboutin exhibition at the Design Museum in London has managed to attract over 38,000 visitors since opening for business in May, making the numbers the highest the museum has ever seen. Well how’d ya like them apples?

“It’s been a real pleasure to see a lot of my ‘babies’ featured all together for the first time,” the designer said of the exhibition. “It’s not only an entire collection of shoes that I saw there but for me a huge collection of souvenirs, precious moments, and very rarely sorrows.”

Aah – a glass half full kind of man, we like it. We predict this will definitely take his mind off that court case for sure. Zara, who?

You’d think that the V&A would want to be all over Alexander McQueen’s Savage Beauty given the phenomenal success of the Christian Louboutin one. We Brits love a good retrospective too, you know!

Have you been to see Louboutin’s exhibit yet?
