What is it about a lip-gloss with a flashlight that makes us ladies shriek with delight? God knows! But every time I proudly show off my new Light beam lip gloss from Rimmel Underground, the response always echoes my initial reaction of excitement. Its pure genius! Just push a well placed button on the cap and a light suitable for any encounter in the dark shines brightly. Realistically it’s highly unlikely that the light beam will ever be used, unless you find yourself desperately trying to apply lip-gloss in the dark. But it’s a brilliant idea which I’m surprised hasn’t been imitated a while ago.
Light beam aside, after using the lip gloss daily, I must say I’m quite impressed. The Light Beam lip gloss is available in six shades. And although I’ve long been a devotee to Mac’s lip-glass, I’d convert to Rimmel just for the addictive sweet smell of its After Hours , Cherry Red version. . On the downside rather than my usual once over, I did have to apply a couple of coats to get a glistening finish but my lips stayed lusciously glossy for ages!
Rimmel Underground Light Beam Lip Gloss, $10.95 is available nationwide from mass retailers and drugstores and online from Ulta.
