Jason Wu, the designer of the moment was celebrated at a private dinner held by Net-A-Porter founder Natalie Massenet.

It was a luscious evening where guests dined on Ahi Tuna and Black Cod, oh how the other half live. It was all set against the fabulous backdrop of Blakes hotel in South Kensington.

Fashionistas were out in full force to view Wu’s new AW09 collection in association with Net-A-Porter. He has also designed two very lovely dresses that are exclusive to the online luxury department store.

The dresses are gorgeous and are now available online. However, they’re not the most credit crunch friendly of styles being £990 each. But if you’ve got the cash, they are beautifully tailored and seasonless making them investment pieces.
