Hot British fashion designer Christopher Kane has put his creative touch on the London transport scene with a brand new and exclusive design for the city’s iconic black cabs. And we quite like it.

The Glaswegian’s re-designed 100 Hackney cabs with a Union Jack motif based on the ‘celestial print’ he used in his 2011 resort collection, as part of Vodafone’s new promotion campaign.

“The black cab is such an iconic part of London’s landscape,” said Kane. “I am honoured to have the opportunity to put my own distinctive stamp on it. Looking forward to seeing one on the street and hailing it down!”

The fully equipped mobile phone-endorsed cabs come complete with mobile phone chargers, and customers can even pay for their journey via text, reports The Telegraph.

Talk about travelling in style!
