So autumn’s fetish trend is upon us, and these delicious skinny leather Motocross pants from Balmain will fit in perfectly.

What I love about these trousers is their ability to channel Balmain’s edgy-luxe aesthetic so effortlessly. Without being try-hard or OTT, just pull them on alongside that black oversized slouchy tee, a heavy wool jumper and accompanying pencil heels to work that glam-rock appeal.

There is one minor – nay, major – hitch, however: the price tag. Now, I’d be willing to invest £300 in something so delightfully luxe as these, but when you times this by 10 (yes, really) I’d fail miserably and have to say a very definite and precise “no”.

Shame, because I REALLY WANT THEM (apparently shouting isn’t going to change anything, though).
