Top designer and one quarter of the Britain and Ireland’s Next Top Model judging panel Julien Macdonald is one very popular man.

He is reportedly getting inundated with requests to make private, made-to-measure pieces – particularly from his male clientele – so has decided to launch a bespoke British service to cater to his clients’ needs. Nice!

“Working closely with a client to create a special outfit is so much fun,” he said. “I love the idea of being able to do more of that.”

‘Julien Macdonald Bespoke’ will be unveiled sometime next year and will feature an in-house workshop devoted to the made-to-measure service. The designer will endeavor to make the collection as British as he can, using fabrics sourced from the UK wherever possible.

“I’ve always tried to source UK fabrics and use UK manufacturers for my ready to wear collections, so having a dedicated in-house atelier to produce ‘Made in Britain’ pieces for my clients is a dream come true for me.”

Congrats Julien on your new project!
