We know that Alice Dellal has been snapped up by Chanel to be the new face of its Boy Chanel handbag collection (we even have a sneaky pic to tease you with until the full campaign emerges) but it looks like Marc Jacobs also wants a piece of the model and musician too.

And why wouldn’t it? Alice Dellal is hot property and we predict that her career will sky-rocket even further this year.

So what do you make of her efforts modelling for Marc Jacobs? The campaign makes full use of Alice’s slender boyish frame, which is ideal for showcasing the lines in the collection as intended.  It’s a far cry from Elle Fanning’s efforts, who was the face of the Marc by Marc Jacobs campaign last season, but we have always admired Marc Jacobs for mixing it up.

The campaign isn’t as extravagant or artistic as we would have liked though: looks like Marc Jacobs is banking on the clothes speaking for themselves, meaning he has a lot of faith in his latest collection, and Alice Dellal’s pulling power of course.

We love the grunge aesthetic juxtaposed with the feminine lines, but we still feel there’s something missing… what do you guys think? Help us out!
