Sorry to put a dampener on your already wet and windy Tuesday morning, but according to British Vogue, that Givenchy for H&M collection that we were so excited about yesterday might not be happening after all. We predict there are going to be some very gloomy faces in offices all around the UK right now, and for once not because of the weather!

The British fashion Bible reports that Givenchy has flat out denied the collaboration rumours, while H&M on the other hand has simply refused to comment. This isn’t surprising though as the brand never spills the beans on future projects whether they’re actually in the works or not, so nothing new there.

Despite the alleged denial, we’re still not entirely ruling it out. After all, Riccardo Tisci famously said a collaboration with H&M could happen “one day” so we’re clinging onto his words for dear life. Who knows, a Christmas miracle might happen and we may get an official confirmation before the end of the year. Keep them fingers crossed!

(Ps: We have revisited two great Givenchy spring/summer 2o13 looks in just as many days, which is somewhat of a silver lining, no?)
