Starr D

8th December 2003 12:42 pm

Following on from the low rise jeans post. A designer who probably won’t appreciate that article is Starr D who makes some great low rise jeans. I wanted to post some pics but they were too big. Below is a clip from a press release re her ’04 collection.

The pants are designed for the ultimate fit. Between the 2 low rises being offered (5″ and 6″), the trademark 1 1/2″ zipper, very soft material and the ever so popular no gap back when you sit down, Starr D is definitely going to be competition to other established designers. Karen has recently been asked to design pants in her material for men by an executive buyer for an international men’s boutique and will eventually expand her line for kids and expecting mothers.

About us

Welcome to My Fashion Life!

Launched in 2003 My Fashion Life is one of the UK’s leading top fashion blogs. Recognised for combining all the quality content you’d expect to find in an online magazine with the honest opinion and tone of a blog.

We love designer fashion, but we love a damn good bargain, too, so while we might lust after Lanvin one minute, we’ll be traipsing to Topshop the next.

You guys are the only reason we get up at 6am to cover the royal wedding and go to bed 5am after the Oscars – we’re dedicated to bringing you the juiciest gossip from the fashion world and delivering the best shopping guides we can muster, because hey, we’re just doing our job. And it’s a good job we love it!
