After being away from LFW for two seasons in a row, Emma Cook made a comeback that was much anticipated. Champagne and canapes were served prior to the show courtesy of Topshop and everyone was feeling bubbly and excited to see what Emma had cooked up (no pun intended).

Just as it was all about to kick off a photographer screamed “Get your bag off the catwalk, everyone turned, only to discover the culprit was an embarrassed Philip Green (Topshop boss)…cringe!

So the question is did the collection disappoint? Not at all. It was filled with lots of wearable pieces that were bang on trend such as tie dye vinyl dresses (and tights), capes, skirts with swirly stiff hemlines and lace dresses that featured our recent obsession – stars.

Fringed collars and an abundance of tassels hinted at a slight country and western influence. To close, a model stormed the runway in a gorgeous gold dress, perfect for party season.
