Earth Day: Eco-Chic Fashion

Given that Earth Day was yesterday, we figured it would be appropriate to browse some “green products. Even though more and more brands are popping up with organic and non-toxic lines, it’s safe to say that natural fabrics haven’t quite yet hit the mainstream and aren’t universally available. But, if you actually take the time to look online for alternatives to your otherwise synthetic-filled closet, you’ll find that there’s some great options that are stylish and more importantly, eco-friendly.

This absolutely adorable one shoulder mini-dress probably isn’t what pops into mind when you think ‘green.’ (Gone are the days of burlap-esque fabrics in drab colours and simplistic looks).

Made of 100% organic cotton and with bias ruffle detailing on the front and back, this Larsen Gray Bouquet Ruffle Sash Dress is a chic and earth-loving LBD to add to your wardrobe this Summer. $229 available on Shopbop.com.

About us

Welcome to My Fashion Life!

Launched in 2003 My Fashion Life is one of the UK’s leading top fashion blogs. Recognised for combining all the quality content you’d expect to find in an online magazine with the honest opinion and tone of a blog.

We love designer fashion, but we love a damn good bargain, too, so while we might lust after Lanvin one minute, we’ll be traipsing to Topshop the next.

You guys are the only reason we get up at 6am to cover the royal wedding and go to bed 5am after the Oscars – we’re dedicated to bringing you the juiciest gossip from the fashion world and delivering the best shopping guides we can muster, because hey, we’re just doing our job. And it’s a good job we love it!
