Members Only: The Comeback Kid?

I guess it was only a matter of time before the 80′s came full circle with the standout piece of that questionable fashion era making a return to the mainstream. Yes, I could only be talking about bomber style, Members Only jackets.

Recently being rocked on stage and in photo opps by pop stars like Mariah Carey, Fergie and Miley Cyrus (who wasn’t even born yet in the 80′s!), these jackets are truly making a headline worthy comeback. Once used as a punch line for cheesy 80′s trends, Members Only jackets not only have shaken off their undesirable connotation, but have sky-rocketed to elite status with price tags that suit their new image (think $600 and up!).

Don’t worry, the cotton/polyester/nylon styles that made the brand so hot back then are safely being kept in the past. Instead, it’s the leather and heavy hardware versions that are defining their new, rocker chic look. What do you think of this hard core 80′s revival?
