YSL Trib Two Boot: So Good They Named it Again!

Trib Two Boot

When Yves Saint Laurent graced our lives with the Tribute Mary Jane pump, it was as if all of our shoe prayers had been answered. As an avid Christian Louboutin fan, it pains me a little to say, but these were possibly some of the simplest, yet prettiest shoes to adorn the feet of the rich, famous (And let’s face it, down right lucky so and so’s).

So how could YSL possibly out-do themselves in the shoe stakes? By launching an ankle boot version of our much loved Tribute for this year’s A/W collection of course. I introduce you ladies, to the new ‘It’ shoe: the Trib Two boot. These beauties, in their 5” heeled wonder, were worn with utter envy down the YSL A/Wo8 catwalk by those pesky models. Jealous? Me? Never.

Available in patent croc, or my personal favourite – black with Indigo sole (oh yes Louboutin, two can play at that coloured sole game) – the Trib Two boot is an absolute style staple. You only need to acknowledge the abbreviated name of last years’ modern classic platform, to understand the iconic status a shoe like this will achieve.

Where do I queue?

It’s an interesting shoe but I’m not sure how I feel about it.
