Emma Roberts looks fabulous in velvet at Ferragamo

Being part of a fabulously famous family can do wonders for one’s wardrobe. Take Emma Roberts, for example: her bloodline has no shortage of A-list faces and their style seems to have filtered down to her wardrobe rather well indeed.

Attending the Salvatore Ferragamo Resort 2012 show in New York on Tuesday, Emma was took her seat on the coveted front row, dressed to impress in a regal plum velvet dress.

Demure yet sexy, the velvet mini looked luxurious and elegant as it draped over the actress’s small frame, though we dare say with the recent heatwave those long sleeves might have been a little warm.

Still, with a key-hole cut-out detail at the neck, Emma managed to look ready for summer with perfectly flowing curls and black sliver-capped pumps. We love her silver box clutch for added shine, too.

But we want to know this: would you wear velvet, in the summer?
