Chic Shoegasms: Pedro Garcia Cheyene multi-buckle heel

26th August 2011 1:00 am

Pedro Garcia has hit the road running with his latest AW11 shoe collection, including leather shoes and ankle boots in tan and black, sequined slippers and a certain satin & crystal collection that will knock your fashion socks off. And, delightfully, the price tags won’t make you weep into your current issue of Vogue.

At £284, these Cheyene multi-buckle heels are on our side of affordable. However, I’m not actually sure that I want to afford them. There’s just something a little too school-girl about the style of these shoes. The platform is too low, the buckles too bulky and the round toe isn’t going to do it for me when we’re nearing a season where pointed toes are paving the way to wonderful.

If I’m going to spend out on a pair of Pedro Garcia shoes, I’m going to go for something a rather more aesthetically pleasing – not something that reminds me of when I was seven and less than stylish.

Pedro Garcia’s Cheyene Multi Buckle High Heel Shoe, £284, available at mywardrobe.com.

About us

Welcome to My Fashion Life!

Launched in 2003 My Fashion Life is one of the UK’s leading top fashion blogs. Recognised for combining all the quality content you’d expect to find in an online magazine with the honest opinion and tone of a blog.

We love designer fashion, but we love a damn good bargain, too, so while we might lust after Lanvin one minute, we’ll be traipsing to Topshop the next.

You guys are the only reason we get up at 6am to cover the royal wedding and go to bed 5am after the Oscars – we’re dedicated to bringing you the juiciest gossip from the fashion world and delivering the best shopping guides we can muster, because hey, we’re just doing our job. And it’s a good job we love it!
