Gisele Bündchen smoulders for Versace’s spring/summer 2012 campaign
We admit that it’s ad campaign overload this morning, but who can blame us when we are presented with such stunning works of art? Versace favourite Gisele Bündchen is the face of its spring/summer 2012 ad campaign and can be seen basking in a hue of blue light in two of the hottest (and in our opinion most memorable) pieces from the brand’s latest collection.
Versace snapped up photography legends Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott to shoot the campaign, under the creative direction of Giovanni Bianco, which was shot in the Sonoran desert of Borrego Springs, California. Gisele can be seen flaunting her enviable body on the steps of a swimming pool, although we don’t encourage her to take a dip in her studded bandeau top and matching skin-tight high-waisted skirt.
There’s something extremely mesmerising about this shot, which only proves how magical a Versace and Gisele partnership can truly be. We hope there are more where this one came from…
