It’s official: Heidi Klum and Seal are getting divorced!
It was reported at the weekend that Heidi Klum – one of the richest and most popular supermodels in the world – and her singer hubby Seal would be getting divorced, after seven years of marriage.
“While we have enjoyed seven very loving, loyal and happy years of marriage, after much soul-searching we have decided to separate,” read a statement issued by their publicists this morning.
“We have had the deepest respect for one another throughout our relationship and continue to love each other very much, but we have grown apart. This is an amicable process and protecting the well-being of our children remains our top priority, especially during this time of transition. We thank our family, friends, and fans for their kind words of support. And for our children’s sake, we appreciate you respecting our privacy.”
It’s alleged that 38-year-old German supermodel Heidi was the one who initially filed for the divorce, citing “irreconcilable differences” in the court papers. TMZ reports that the couple will be heading to the Los Angeles County Superior Court to submit their divorce papers some time this week.
We are genuinely quite shocked and saddened by the news, and hope the couple will continue to remain friends for the sake of their adorable children.
