Karl Lagerfeld gives Adele lots of Chanel handbags to apologise for those fat comments
As we tweeted yesterday morning, Karl Lagerfeld has apparently gifted British singing sensation Adele with various Chanel bags, as a way of apologising for the comments he made about her earlier this year.
“Karl told his team to send Adele the best the fashion house have to offer after hearing she collected bags,” a source allegedly told The Sun.
“He said he really wanted to make it up to her so they could maybe work together in the future. He could see her fronting a campaign for Chanel Mademoiselle bags when the contract with Blake Lively ends.
“He’s annoyed with himself because he ended up insulting her when he meant to compliment her. He thinks she’s beautiful and calls her divine.”
We know it isn’t an official statement from the House of Chanel, but wouldn’t an Adele/Karl Lagerfeld/Chanel project be like… the best thing ever?!
