Meet the new faces of Burberry’s autumn/winter 2012 ad campaign

29th May 2012 10:09 am

Burberry power couple Cara Delevingne and Eddie Redmayne have done a fantastic job representing the brand these past few seasons, but it’s time for them to pass the baton to two brand new faces.

Actress Gabriella Wilde and musician Roo Panes are the new Cara and Eddie, and have been selected for Burberry’s brand new autumn/winter 2012 ad campaign, which you can see a sneaky peek of above. It may have been shot by Burberry fave Mario Testino, but it’s a bit different to what we’re used to, isn’t it?

“We wanted to play with everything that’s at the heart of the Burberry world – celebrating our brand and London through imagery, film, music, weather and our iconic outerwear, all in a very poetic and British way,” Christopher Bailey said.

“Using London as the backdrop, we shot the series of cinematic, emotive black and white images and short films with the incredibly talented Gabriella Wilde and Roo Panes, who effortlessly bring the campaign and our collections to life across all of our platforms.”

Do you like the sneak preview of the campaign? The full thing will be unveiled on June 1st so not long to wait!

About us

Welcome to My Fashion Life!

Launched in 2003 My Fashion Life is one of the UK’s leading top fashion blogs. Recognised for combining all the quality content you’d expect to find in an online magazine with the honest opinion and tone of a blog.

We love designer fashion, but we love a damn good bargain, too, so while we might lust after Lanvin one minute, we’ll be traipsing to Topshop the next.

You guys are the only reason we get up at 6am to cover the royal wedding and go to bed 5am after the Oscars – we’re dedicated to bringing you the juiciest gossip from the fashion world and delivering the best shopping guides we can muster, because hey, we’re just doing our job. And it’s a good job we love it!
