Last month we told you that Lana Del Rey could well have been snapped up by H&M for her first modelling gig since being signed to Next Model Management. It was never officially confirmed, but as these autumn 2012 campaign images have just been released, we’re going to take a wild guess and assume the speculation was true!

As predicted, the Video Games singer and Mulberry muse looks strikingly beautiful as she poses for Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin with her now trademark voluminous hair and feline darkly lined eyes.

“The mood is very L.A. noir,” said H&M creative director Donald Schneider. “It’s inspired by our fall collection.”

We love the contrast of her hair and make-up to the soft, pastel pink hue of the angora jumper she is modelling. Nice touch on the blingy earrings too!

Do you like what you see so far? There’s more where these pics came from, as H&M will be releasing new images for winter 2012 too! And that’s not all – the singer also recorded a cover of Blue Velvet which will appear in a mini-film that will debut on September 19th. So, lots more Lana to look forward to!
