If big designer department stores are your thing, you might just be tempted by John Lewis this week – it’s just launched a brand new £10 million fashion floor, filled with designer exclusives from the likes of Osman Yousefzada, William Tempest, Terry de Havilland, Celia Birtwell, Philip Treacy and Alex Monroe.

The new space is as large as it is vast, spanning a whole floor of its London flagship – and it’s jam packed with own-brand collections, favourite designers, up-coming talent and exclusive collaborations for both men and women.

Osman Yousefzada has created a limited edition floor-length dress with his signature silk draping detail, available in three colourways; William Tempest‘s offering is a thigh-skimming mini dress in the designer’s iconic body-con wrapping, featuring cut-out details and a specially-created print taken from his SS11 collection; Celia Birtwell has designed a floaty maxi dress splashed with her iconic vibrant print; Terry de Havilland has recreated his legendary platform wedges in snakeskin and metallics; and there’s exclusive head pieces from Philip Treacy and jewellery by Alex Monroe to boot.

But all these pieces are strictly limited edition, so if you’re hoping to get your hands on any of them, we suggest you get down to John Lewis on London’s Oxford Street this Thursday, 16th September when the new fashion floor officially opens its doors.
