Whilst attending the launch event for the Lorraine Schwartz “2BHAPPY” jewellery collection at Lavo in New York City last week, Blake Lively opted to wear what we’d like to call one of the most gorgeous Versace dresses we’ve ever seen to date – and trust us, we’re not exaggerating.

Shimmying straight off the SS11 runway, the bodycon number fitted the young actress like a glove – the corseted upper half and tight fitting pencil skirt couldn’t have created a more snug silhouette – so it’s a pretty good job Blake’s got a body to carry it off.

The woven nude basque came complete with ultra thin spaghetti straps, cut-out panels at the ribs and a rather amazing waterfall of cascading fringe detailing, while the matching silky-smooth skirt finished off the outfit to perfection.

If only we too could look as beautiful as Blake – well what do you know, we can with this cream lace corset from Net-a-Porter, £370, and this camel-coloured pencil skirt from Topshop, £36.
