It takes a special kind of person to contribute to fashion, face controversial court hearings and come out the other side a smiling icon to her industry – but Naomi Campbell’s no ordinary woman.

With a career spanning over two decades, the British supermodel was recognised by the BFC at Tuesday night’s British Fashion Awards 2010 with a Special Recognition Award, celebrating her extraordinary 25 years in an industry she’s not only contributed to, but has had an incredible impact on.

And the usually reserved Naomi was a little emotional to say the least as she collected her award from stylist Edward Enninful. Watch what she had to say in her acceptance speech below…
