Like you didn’t know already, the 2012 Olympics are coming to London next year, and since we’re all feeling a little patriotic right now, there’s something you should know.

Stella McCartney and Adidas have teamed up to create a fan wear collection, inspired by Team GB’s official Olympic outfits, so you can wear your support and get inspired for the big event.

And to celebrate its second series, the pair have launched a short film called ‘You Don’t Know Them Yet… But You Will’.

“Sport and style have always been the starting point for this collaboration,” says Stella. “We wanted to take it to another art form for this collection by making a film and capturing the athletes in movement which is at the heart of this process.”

The film’s directed by Jacob Sutton with narration from Stella McCartney and features Olympic Triple Jump medallist Phillips Idowu crashing through a solid column; Olympic medallist Louis Smith performing on a pommel horse; silver medallist Heather Fell running through water; and triathlete Hollie Avil cycling in front of a wall of fire – all of which come together to represent not only the athletes’ disciplines, but the collection’s commitment to style and performance.

The fan wear line is due to hit Adidas stores on 16th May.
